KAYAKING COURSES Earth Adventure provides three Kayaking courses. Basic Skills Kayak Course Kayak School is a one day course where you learn the basics of good paddling technique. Areas covered include forward and reverse paddling, emergency stops, turning, capsize and rescue. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills for inland or sea paddling trips. All equipment is provided. These are aimed at providing beginners with a structure session that will provide the basic skills to paddle in future tours. This service is also suitable for people who have a kayak and would like to learn the correct techniques for using their own boat. - Garden Island

Season: November to April Intro Sea Kayaking You have the basics of paddling and have been paddling on flat and protected waters. Sea kayaking seems to be your interest but you're not sure of the next step. Well this is it, as we take you into the world of sea kayaking. You can bring your own craft if suitable. The location of the course will depend on the conditions on the day. Pre-requisite: Completed basic skills kayaking and a flat water day. Price: TBA
