KAYAKING TOURS

South Australia is unique in it’s diversity of places to paddle. From the quiet backwaters of the Murray, to the wilderness of the Coorong. Or the wonderful coastal cliffs and pristine beaches to the many islands off the Australian coast.

Although whitewater kayaking is not possible in South Australia, we really are blessed with some world class sea kayaking and flat water touring destinations.

Earth Adventure uses quality kayaks, works within industry recognized standards, and uses qualified & experienced staff. We look forward to seeing you on a journey with us soon.

Each tour/course will operate with a minimum of 4 people booked. All pricing includes an instructor, kayak, paddle, PFD, spray deck and dry sack.

River and Sea Kayak Day Trips

Our kayak day trips are a great way to socialise, get fit and enjoy the fantastic water ways and coast lines that South Australia has to offer. Paddle with our enthusiastic and professional instructors as they guide you on a Fun and Adventurous tour around some of South Australia’s most Scenic locations. Our guides will share some local knowledge and history and highlight some of the natural features of the area. Hot drinks and morning tea is provided.

We offer tours to

  • Currency and Finniss Creeks - Explore the Murray river and its backwaters
  • Coorong - See the Murray mouth, visit the spectacular sand dunes and learn about the cultural heritage of the area.
  • Victor Harbor - Visit or circumnavigate Granite Island, Check out  The Bluff from a different angle and explore other small islands in the area
  • Marino Rocks to Hallet Cove - take in the geological history of the area and enjoy the spectacular cliff line, stop for fish and chips at Hallet Cove for lunch!
  • Second Valley to Rapid Bay - Visit the local seal and sea lion colony and discover the hidden beaches and sea caves.
  • Myponga to Carrickalinga - Enjoy the spectacular coastline, keep an eye out for sea caves and white sand beaches.

 

 

Sunset Paddles

What better way to end the day then with a relaxing evening paddle! Our evening kayak trips are an enjoyable way to make the most of day light savings and get active after a hard day at work or play! Meet one of our Earth Adventures Instructors at the set locations and they will guide you on a short and relaxed journey . Enjoy the scenery while day turns to dusk!

Garden Island Morning Paddles

Garden Island is a hidden Gem located near Port Adelaide! Join us on this fun introduction to kayaking in this remarkable area. We run through the bsic skills you need to paddle and get on water to explore the mangroves and ships graveyard> we are normally joined by the local pod of playfull Dolphins!

Sea Kayaking - Extended Tours

The sea tours are conducted from 2 days to 5 days. Paddling with our enthusiastic and professional instructors exploring our spectacular coastline. We provide quality sea kayaks, all safety equipment, qualified and experienced guides, meals, transport ex-Adelaide on tours. These trips use a variety of tent and cottage accommodation, with rating from easy to challenging in fitness and expedition difficulty.

  • Kangaroo Island
  • Robe
  • Wardang Island (near Port Victoria)

Inland Kayaking and Canoe Extended Tours

Trips are conducted on weekend and extended trips are conducted on long weekends. Explore the backwaters of the Magnificent Murray River, surrounded by beautiful wetlands and wildlife . We provide quality touring kayaks, paddles, associated safety equipment, qualified and experienced guides, meals provided , transport ex-Adelaide. These trips use a variety of tent and cottage accommodation, with rating from easy to moderate in fitness and expedition difficulty. The tours normally last 2 –5 days.
