TREKKING TOURS Earth Adventure provides Trekking Tours to three distinct locations. Nepal An Intimate journey discovering the spectacular landscapes of the Himalaya. Guided by our Australian leaders in conjunction with Nepalese people, the small tour group will be given a deeper understanding and connection to Katmandu and the Nepali culture. Staying in friendly and comfortable guest houses while on Trek. EA provide free membership and pre trip training sessions to people in South Australia. There are 3 main trips that are conducted. Everest Base camp, Yala peak in Lang tang and parts of the Annapurna Region Classic Everest Trek 28 days, up to 3 summit attempts. Fully accommodated, small group journey. Trek will be in the Everest Region, doing a loop walk, Lukla, to Namche Bazaar, to Gokyo, summit 5,400m, Cho la Pass, 5,300m, to Everest Base Camp & Kala Pattar, 5,400m. I have timed the trip to (hopefully) coincide with a religious festival at a high monastery, Tengboche. Journey has a possible 2 day BIG white water rafting extension. Tasmanian Wilderness - the overland track A 7-day wilderness journey across the highest track in Tasmania. The trek allow you to experience the delicate balance of nature in this world heritage area. Accommodation is in huts or tents. EA provide pre trip training through free membership to the Pathfinder walks and other specific group training.
